Who are we
Founded in 1997 by the current owners Country Care (Southern) Ltd was established to provide Countryside and Amenity Contracting services within the South East area. Initially focused on public access works and commercial landscape projects. With steady business growth and customer satisfaction we continue to carry out larger specialised works including; Ministry of Defense Range projects from Scotland to Kent, seeding works including the recent Tower of London Super Bloom and play area installation. 25 years on we have the experience, knowledge and are interested in undertaking your countryside and amenity contracting works.
What can we do
We can construct and maintain your commercial and public amenity spaces. From planting the trees and seeding the wildflower to installing a swing or changing the bearings in a roundabout we enjoy doing it all and most of what’s in-between. The difference with us is the person that looks at the job will be involved in doing the job. We understand soil and ground conditions. We protect wherever we go, we can work it out, put it together and install it. Added to this we recycle what we create and can recycle for you.

Environment
Understanding the soil and conditions is the key to establishment, protecting from compaction and working when conditions are right comes with our 25 years of experience.
Pollinators work for us all and where possible we aim to reduce the use of chemicals.
Using our Zago shredder, we are able to shred and compost green waste to produce a usable sustainable product this can be reused on projects. We can also compost waste for others at our recycling site or attend your site. Composted material can then be screened to suit requirements.
Wood products are converted into energy using our biomass boiler. We endeavor to recycle or reuse as much of our waste as possible.
Play
Play areas have seen a massive increase in demand and use over the recent years, but unfortunately items wear, break and come to the end of the useful life.
We can source replacement parts or install a replacement including surface repairs. Our experience of fencing and path works can be beneficial in offering site enhancement projects or section 106 works.
Landscape
We just love to sow grass and wildflowers. It’s all about the preparation, timing, seed mix and then getting that end result. Over the years we’ve found the right kit to do it. And our results speak for themselves.
We can supply and plant mature trees and hedging to SANG, countryside and commercial projects.
Paths and Access
No one wants to walk out of their way. We build paths that take you there, follow the contours of the ground, blend in with the surroundings and respect the trees along the way. We favor porous stone surfacing with a fine grit surface which creates a natural looking accessible path. From cellweb around a champion tree to short link between existing paths we can deliver the solution.
